ABOUT REEF
In 1984, two entrepeneurial brothers from South American named Fernando and Santiago Aguerre founded REEF out of a love for the beach and surfing.
Their idea was to create high-quality, super comfortable sandals that fit the lifestyle they loved and could take them to the beach, into town, and wherever they wanted to go – in comfort.
Today Reef sandals have become a symbol of a free, comfortable and happy lifestyle.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability has been part of the REEF DNA since the beginning. In 2007, REEF’s mission was to incorporate renewable, recycled and/or organic materials whenever possible.
This was also the time that REEF planted our flag to become 100% PVC Free, something that we can still claim to this day.
